My Oscar Gowns : )

Imagine how many actresses are after their wished gowns for the Oscar event these days, actually there are only 10 days left to the big day, so I guess and hope for them that they are done with their choices already. I wonder how things work between Maisons and Actresses, how do they choose the lucky one to give a really on demand gown. The fashion weeks are not over yet, but I made a short list from Spring Haute Couture and last NYFW shows, in alphabetical order.


Alexis Mabille. For really brave ones, who wears this successfully goes to unforgettable Oscar gowns lists for sure. Of course remove the painted skin, and huge hat, I like the bow though. Such a strong color. I can picture Tilda Swinton in this one, remember her perfect Haider Ackermann look in last Golden Globes, she was stunning. I really love seeing the unconventional beauty of Tilda and Cate.

Armani Privé. Pale yellow mermaid, and another undersea look in grey. First actresses coming to my mind are Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Anne Hathaway. By the way, I have no idea who is attending the Oscars this year and as I don't closely follow all the red carpet events I dont know if any of these gowns are worn already in recent events.

Christian Dior. Someone with perfect long legs and brave and at ease to show off legs, Charlize Theron and Cameron Diaz are on top of the list.

Elie Saab Mint and Coral gorgeousness. I think these dresses would look better on brunettes.

Giambattista Valli. I am not into lace but this one is really beautiful and original. Black lover Angelina Jolie maybe.

Stephane Rolland. To be really different. And look at those layerings, am in love : )

Versace. Metallic sharp love.

And Zac Posen. I just love this jewel color so much, this green would look great on anyone. Penelope Cruz, Naomi Watts, Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry maybe.

And now the fun dreaming game. Which one do I pick for me! ;-) As I love grey very much ( I guess 1/3 of my closet is grey ) and I am a big fan of Zac Posen, I would be going for the perfection above : ) I am really curious to find out who-where-when will wear it : )
